Our Story!
The Chasm Co. was born in 2015 while I was crafting jewelry in my bedroom floor as a high schooler! It's now evolved into what it is today out of a love for cute, high quality jewelry and the belief that making something with your own hands is one of the most joyful things you can do! What started as a passion for gold-filled pieces and handmade earrings grew into something so much bigger and more meaningful. The Chasm Co is now home to a creative community online and irl!
We're well known for our high-quality, fun earrings, Craft Club Bham, and our signature DIY Charm Bar Kits. But what really sets us apart is the experience we create around jewelry. The Chasm Co invites you to create and make freely, wear and style intentionally, and share jewelry with the people you love!
Craft Club Bham + The Charm Bar IRL!
One of our favorite things we do is host reoccurring monthly crafting events through our club, @craftclubbham! This is a gathering space for cool, kind women and is 18+! Every month includes the Charm Bar and a local, woman-owned business or female artist! Our past Craft Clubs have featured mug painting, terrarium building, print making, tote painting, book binding, journal decorating, candle making, DIY holiday wreaths, and so much more! Our other events like Charm Bars, Craft n Coffees, Craft & Cocktails, and DIY Necklace Nights are magical spaces where you get to design and build your own one-of-a-kind jewelry. You can make your own necklace, bracelet, bag charm, or pair of huggie hoop earrings! Our Charm Bar is constantly being updated with new charms and has over 300+ to choose from when fully stocked! We also have a variety of chains and pre-made beaded necklaces, so your jewelry can be as unique as you are!
These events are all about connection, creativity, and having fun with people you love (or people you're about to meet)!

Hi, I'm Rachael, owner of The Chasm Co. I'm also a bookshop owner with my husband, @enjoyerbooks, and a lover of whimsy, @readingbarbie! I believe in building things that matter, whether that's a business, a community, or the cutest damn charm necklace you've ever seen!!
I live in Birmingham, Alabama with my mustached, tall, graphic designer husband and two black cats, Beetle(juice) and Junebug! I love reading, crafting, the outdoors, t-shirts, and ofc my friends and family. I am eternally fueled by sushi, crab rangoons, and dirty soda (dr. pepper always)!
